David Nutt David John Nutt is a British psychiatrist and neuropsychopharmacologist specialising in the research of drugs that affect the brain and conditions such as addiction, anxiety and sleep. He was until 2009 a professor at the University of Bristol heading their Psychopharmacology Unit. Since then he has been the Edmond J Safra chair in Neuropsychopharmacology at Imperial College London. Nutt was a member of the Committee on Safety of Medicines, and was President of the European College of Neuropsychopharmacology.

Guy Jones Guy Jones has been involved in drug science since 2010 and uses his background in chemistry to support the integration of science and technology with harm reduction. He works with “The Loop” providing the UK’s first festival drug checking service and when not coordinating events, enjoys working on new techniques to keep “The Loop” on the cutting edge of field analysis. Guy also runs “Reagent Tests UK”, selling home adulterant tests and is a trustee for festival welfare charity “Kosmicaid”.

Harvey Milkman Harvey B. Milkman, PhD, is Professor Emeritus, Department of Psychology, Metropolitan State University of Denver, where he teaches classes on Cravings and Addiction, and Abnormal Psychology. He is Visiting Professor at Reykjavik University, Iceland (2015 – present). He was recipient of a Fulbright-Hays Lectureship Award at the National University of Malaysia and represented the United States Information Agency as a consultant and featured speaker in Australia, Brazil, Iceland, The Netherlands, Peru, Turkey and Yugoslavia. Dr. Milkman delivered master classes on “Adolescent Problem Behaviors” for the US/Russia Peer-to- Peer program on “Working with At-Risk Youth,” July 2016, Moscow State University, Moscow, Russia. Dr. Milkman’s was a featured guest on NPR’s “Here and Now” on March 10, 2017. Dr. Milkman is author of numerous scholarly articles and books on the causes, consequences and treatment choices for the broad spectrum of addictive behaviors.

Anne-Marie Cockburn In July 2013, Anne-Marie Cockburn's only child Martha Fernback swallowed 1/2 gm of ecstasy and died with a few hours of an accidental overdose. Since then Anne-Marie has relentlessly campaigned throughout the UK (and internationally) for drug laws to be reviewed. Finn Skårderud Finn Skårderud (born 1956) is a Norwegian psychiatrist, author and professor.  Skårderud is the founder of Villa Sult institute for eating disorders, a treatment, research and cultural dissemination centre.  He runs a psychotherapy clinic in Oslo, is a professor at the Norwegian Sports College, and is the leading psychiatrist for the Norwegian Olympic Committee. Skårderud is engaged in diverse approaches to mental health, considering diagnoses and treatment from humanistic, cultural, esthetic and medicinal angles.  As a writer, he conveys his topics through popular genres and he has produced numerous works as a professional literary writer and mediator, as well as fiction and for the stage. Skårderud is a regular contributor to Danish newspaper Information, to Norwegian paper Aftenposten and he has a regular column in the weekly magazine A-magasinet.
